Economy Emulsion
DESCRIPTION:
Gamma Economy Emulsion is a top quality, economical, high-opacity undercoat emulsion which gives excellent coverage and application. Suitable for all interior wall and ceiling surfaces, particularly new plaster that is still drying out. It’s a perfect value paint for general application for internal surface.
USES:
Used as multipurpose undercoat, which provides a flexible, non-absorbent foundation for gloss or matt finish. It can be applied on all types of smooth plasters, false ceilings, asbestos and etc.

DIRECTION OF USE
Surface Preparation (New & Old) | New Plaster surfaces to be painted should be allowed to mature at least for a period of six weeks. Remove loose particles and rub slightly with emery paper. Ensure that surface is dry and free of dust, dirt, moisture etc. In case of repainting jobs, earlier coatings of emulsion paint need not to be removed if in sound condition. Otherwise slight sanding followed by wipe & clean is necessary before application. |
Interior (New Plaster) | Sand the surface with emery paper 180 and wipe clean. Apply Gamma Economy Emulsion by brush or roller followed by Impala Wall Putty Filler using putty knife. Then do the sanding and clean the surface for applying Gamma Wall Coat or Vinyl Premium Emulsion as finish paint with a recoating* interval of 1 – 2 hours. |
* Recoating Interval was quoted for 28 – 300C and at 60 – 65% Relative Humidity
PRECAUTIONS
1. | Kindly refer to MSDS for detailed safety measures while handling the paint. |
2. | Store the product in ambient conditions in well ventilated locations and away from source of ignition and fire. |
3. | Avoid eye and skin contact. In case it happens, wash with plenty of clean water. |
4. | Do not inhale or inject. In case of inhalation move to fresh air. |
5. | Use protective equipments like gloves, safety glasses, face mask while handling the paint – this is required for all paint. |
6. | Do not apply when the ambient temperature is less than 100C or it might drop to this level within 4 hours of application. |
7. | Both white and tinted paints need through shaking / mixing immediately before use. |
8. | Use the recommended shades for exterior application. |
9 | Where ever dilution is necessary, use pure water. Adjust a viscosity of 30 – 40 sec for brush application and for other method use at 20 – 30 sec by Ford cup No. 4 |
